Cookie Policy
How SpeakMetry uses cookies and similar technologies on speakmetry.com, and how you control them.
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We use them for two purposes only: making the Service work (essential) and understanding how the site is used (analytics, which are optional and need your consent).
These are required for the Service to function and cannot be switched off:
- Authentication cookies (your sign-in session): keep you signed in securely.
- Cookie-consent preference: remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies.
Only if you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner, we load the following analytics services to understand how the site is used and improve it:
- Google Analytics 4: aggregate page-view and event statistics.
- Microsoft Clarity: anonymised interaction analytics (e.g. scroll and click patterns).
If you choose "Reject", these services are never loaded and no analytics cookies are set. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a rejection automatically.
You can change your cookie choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer, which reopens the consent banner. You can also clear cookies through your browser settings.
For how we handle personal data generally, see the Privacy Policy. Questions: privacy@speakmetry.com.
