How accurate is a 20-question grammar test?
It gives a reliable first estimate because questions are staged by CEFR level; your level is the highest stage where you stay above 60% accuracy. For a fuller picture, your results after a week of exercises are a better signal than any single test.
What do the CEFR levels mean for IELTS?
Roughly: B1 grammar supports IELTS Band 5 to 6, B2 supports Band 6.5 to 7.5, and C1 grammar underpins Band 8+. Grammar is one of four criteria, so a level is a foundation, not a guaranteed band.
Can I retake the test?
Yes. Retaking gives you a different set of questions drawn from the same bank, so you can't memorise your way to a higher level.
