    You and a group of friends want to organise a charity run in a local park to raise money for a hospital.

    Write a letter to the manager of the council's parks department. In your letter

    explain what you are planning

    say why you have chosen this park

    describe the permission and help you need

    Write at least 150 words.

    Write about the following topic:

    Some people believe that children should take part in competitive sport at school. Others think that schools should teach only activities in which children cooperate rather than compete.

    Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

    Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

    Write at least 250 words.
