What the examiner looks for
- The essay gives a verdict: positive, negative, or one outweighing the other.
- The verdict is argued from the effects of the trend, not from a description of it.
- The essay is at least 250 words, and Task 2 counts twice as much as Task 1 towards the Writing band.
